Wendy, When my daughter, Katie, came from (a past bride)'s wedding, she told me all about you and how smoothly everything went.  At that time, we knew you would be our consultant and "Day of the Wedding" coordinator.  We had been talking about the wedding for months.  I felt that because we had done so many things in advance, that the wedding and reception would be easy, with no problems. Then we started talking about where all the chairs would be in the front of the house, where Katie wanted to "walk down the aisle" and realized we needed guidance from a pro.  We called and you were there for us.  I don't know what would have happened without your help and knowledge. After the rehearsal, I felt even better about how smoothly the next day would go.  Then Saturday morning came -- all the female bridal party members went for hairstyles and manicures and on to the bridal luncheon given by Katie's grandmother.  The luncheon lasted longer than I had anticipated.  We finally got home and the heat and humidity were rising.  Then the sky got dark and threatening.  The caterer was preparing for the reception and told me we had to make a decision about what to do in case of rain.  I was suddenly at a loss.  It was hot, so I didn't want to get ready early.  I had anticipated decorating all the tables myself and setting up the other tables and special decorations and favors.  The baker delivered the cakes and I went to check on them, then the heavens opened.  It was a nightmare.  I was totally unprepared, I felt as though everything was out of control and I didn't know what to do.  I felt frozen in time.  I didn't know what to do next.  Then comes Wendy, the Wedding Coordinator.  You completely took over.  The rain stopped, and you and Ferdy brought the sunshine with you.  I went to get dressed - helped Katie get ready, and the photographer was snapping pictures.  I didn't have to do anything, you took care of everything.  With your directions, the ceremony went beautifully. After the pictures were taken, I stepped into the reception area and you had done everything that had to be done.  Everything was beautiful.  It was like magic.  I have no idea how you got so much done so quickly.  I can never thank you for all you did.  When I saw all the tables decorated and everything in place, I knew the reception would be everything we wanted.  We could never have gotten through the wedding and reception without you.  Wendy you are the wedding guru!  You and Ferdy helped us have the storybook wedding Katie always wanted. You and Ferdy are a finely tooled team.  The timing of all the music was perfect.  Ferdy, you were ready for any song, at any time - and I know we did some last minute changes.  The music was great, the lights and party package brought more fun to the reception than I had thought. I cannot say enough wonderful things about both you and Ferdy - individually and as a team.  You are the best --- you made our wedding perfect.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Geri M.    (Bride) Wendy was my wedding coordinator for my wedding on July 5, 2002.  She did an excellent job.  Before the wedding, Wendy sat down with me and planned a schedule of events.  She kept in constant contact and was very accessible throughout the four months leading up to the wedding.  Anytime I needed musicians, or even the order of the processional, Wendy offered many suggestions. From the moment Wendy arrived at the Junior League, she had everything under control.  With her emergency wedding tackle box at her side, she pinned up my husband's sleeves that were too long, made a last minute flower halo for my flower girl, and passed out breath mints to the bridesmaids.  No job was too big or too small.  She took her job as a wedding planner very seriously and she also had fun doing it.  Her great attitude made the whole evening much more relaxing for me.  I can't believe I even thought about going through this without her. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Junior League in the same ballroom.  Several vendors had to be coordinated within a short amount of time.  Within a 45 minute period, the room had to be changed over from the ceremony room to the reception room.  The band, florist, linen service, baker, and caterer all had to be set up within that time period.  Wendy kept everyone on schedule and organized.  She even helped the photographer get all the right people in the right photographs. I strongly recommend Wendy as a wedding planner.   She made my wedding very enjoyable and allowed me to have a great time at my wedding. Wendy Caviles did an excellent job for us on our wedding day.  Even though I failed to contact her concerning the details of the wedding, she still was able to perform very well despite the lack of information!  She has always been very good about keeping up with all the details concerning my wedding and always kept the communication lines open.  E-mails, phone calls, and any other types of correspondence were handled in a prompt and professional manner.  I was never worried about not getting ahold of her! Wendy also works excellently under pressure.  At one point, I thought about changing my florist with only a month left until the wedding.  Wendy was ready with a list of three reputable and respectable florists who still had my wedding date open.  This happened within just one day of knowing that I needed another florist.  With Wendy, I always felt as if I was the only wedding she was coordinating even though I was just one of many!  Also, during the actual  reception, the timeline of events changed.  Wendy was ready with a revised timeline of events after having spoken to the DJ and the site coordinator. Wendy Caviles is an excellend source of wedding information and is a true joy to work with! I highly recommend her services and help for any wedding that may come up!
