About Wendy I first planned a wedding in 1992 and I was immediately hooked. I cherished everything about the work, from meeting photographers and florists, to tasting cakes. Since then, I've spent a lot of time researching wedding-related companies and meeting wedding vendors that offer a great service for a reasonable price. I truly believe you can have your dream wedding while working within your budget. I became even more involved in the wedding industry when I met my husband. He started working as a DJ in 1985, doing mostly wedding receptions. Needless to say, I just had to get involved! We now work as a husband-and-wife DJ team, serving brides and grooms all over the Houston/Galveston area. We are unique in the DJ field in that we both attend the reception, allowing him to control the music at all times while I coordinate the reception with the photographer, videographer, and caterer. This helps the reception run much more smoothly, and allows you, the bride, to have fun without worrying about the details. It suffices to say that I have atttended and been a part of many successful wedding receptions! I have completed formal education to become a Certified Bridal Consultant. I finished my course work with a grade point average of 99. I enjoy using that education along with my experience when working with brides, grooms, and their families. I take pleasure in knowing that my work will help you relax and enjoy everything from the initial planning to the "Big Day." I want to help make your wedding and reception everything you've dreamed it would be. I also believe it is critical that I be ethical and honest when dealing with my clients. I will give you suggestions for wedding vendors in a variety of price ranges so you can make an informed decision. I work for you: I do not accept referral fees or kickbacks from vendors, and I will only refer you to people whom I consider honest and straightforward. That is why I charge a reasonable flat rate for my services, so there will be no surprises when the final payment is due, and no hidden charges.
